Photographer Arrival
Abby, your photographer, arrives at Scenic View Inn & Suites to begin coverage. Abby captures intimate, candid moments as Mary and Andrew enjoy light refreshments, take a few deep breaths, and share a quiet mirror moment before departure.
Depart for Canyonlands from Scenic View Inn
Couple and vendors travel to the ceremony site.
Meet your Team at the Ceremony Location
Upon arrival, Mary and Andrew meet Abby, their photographer, and Krista, their officiant from Can Elope Moab, for a quick check-in to confirm ceremony flow, lighting, and portrait plans. Abby scouts photo angles and captures environmental pre-ceremony shots.
Guest Arrival
Guests begin arriving at the designated meeting point and hike in to the ceremony site. Abby captures scenic detail shots, guest arrivals, and moments of anticipation.
Wedding Party Walks to Ceremony Site
The entire wedding party gathers and proceeds to the ceremony location.
Guests and Couple Become Situated
Guests are seated as Mary and Andrew prepare for their ceremony.
Ceremony Begins
Officiated by Krista of Can Elope Moab, vows, rings, and heartfelt moments are exchanged against the stunning Canyonlands landscape. Estimated duration: 20–30 minutes.
Optional Celebratory Moment
Champagne pop, group hugs, and celebratory cheers with guests and family.
Family & Couple Portraits
Formal portraits with family and the wedding party. Abby guides posing to maintain a joyful, relaxed energy.
Golden Hour Adventure Portraits & Exploration
Mary and Andrew venture off with Abby to explore Canyonlands’ iconic overlooks and red rock formations. This session includes romantic portraits, candid walking shots, and sweeping desert views. Optional props like bouquets, vow books, or champagne can be incorporated for styled moments.
Final Golden Hour Moments
Quiet, emotional portraits as golden light bathes the canyon rim. A reflective, intimate moment before rejoining guests.
Guests & Vendors Hike Out
Abby captures final farewell shots and scenic landscape frames as the group makes their way back.
Drive to Josie Wyatt’s Grille
Bridal party and newlywed couple depart for dinner. Approximate drive time: 35 minutes + 5 minutes for parking.
Post-Ceremony Celebration at Josie Wyatt’s Grille
Mary and Andrew join guests for a celebratory dinner at Josie Wyatt’s Grille in Moab. Optional toast to the newlyweds concludes the evening.
