Maximum 25 guests including vendors. California State Parks permit required ($450 + $25 filing fee); popular dates book 6–12 months ahead through a lottery system. Restrictions: no dogs, no amplified music (acoustic only), no flower petals/confetti/rice, no drones without commercial permit, no alcohol. Overlook is a minimal walk from a roadside pullout that fills extremely fast in summer (arrive by 7–8 AM). West-facing view gets spectacular golden sunset light, especially September–October during fall colors.

The best wedding planning app out there! I downloaded the app and was wowed by the different locations available. Planning a wedding from out of state, Wedy took care of so many details that were challenging to do from home. We booked the micro wedding package and decided to go with a private chef for our reception. The food was outstanding and there was no issue when it came to the dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free & vegan). Olly and Rumi made everything easy for planning wise, and the day of our wedding Sarah was there every step of the way. We are over the moon with our experience with Wedy and would enthusiastically recommend the app to anyone considering a Lake Tahoe wedding.
