One of the most dramatic ceremony sites in Rocky Mountain National Park — a rocky outcropping on a sweeping mountain curve with panoramic 360-degree views of Moraine Park and surrounding peaks. Standing on an exposed ridgeline with the valley spreading out below and peaks rising in every direction creates an intimate sense of standing on top of the world. Maximum 15 guests including all vendors (photographer, videographer, officiant all count). Rocky Mountain National Park permit required ($300 non-refundable fee). Apply via email to romo_fees_permits@nps.gov with completed Special Use Permit form. Lead time up to 1 year in advance — permits highly competitive, only 60 issued park-wide May-October, 40 November-April. Restrictions: no drones, no amplified music above 60 dB, no flower petals/confetti/rice/scattered materials, no chairs/tables/tents/arches/structures, no pets, no elaborate decorations, no exclusive-use lockout. Very limited parking (3 vehicles maximum — guests must carpool). Sturdy footwear required for rocky, uneven terrain. Best in late September-early October for golden aspens and fewer crowds, or July for wildflowers. I had NO idea how to plan a destination wedding and I was so lucky to find Wedy. Olly was my coordinator and within two days of reaching out she had my vendors scheduled, helped find lodging and a personalized timeline. It was so helpful having somebody local that was able to give insight on the time of day to hold the ceremony to get the perfect lighting, the current weather of my location, etc. All of our vendors went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our day was absolutely perfect and special. This includes floral, hair and makeup, and our officiant and photographer! If you want a beautiful stress free wedding this is deff the way to go!
