Perched 2,000 feet above a dramatic horseshoe bend of the Colorado River, Dead Horse Point offers one of Utah's most breathtaking ceremony backdrops — a turquoise ribbon of river winding through burnt-orange canyon walls. Five designated ceremony sites accommodate groups from intimate 2-person elopements to 100-guest weddings. La Sal Site is ideal for sunrise ceremonies with stunning early morning light; Shade Shelter (covered, capacity 100) offers relief from heat. Utah State Parks permit required ($200–$300 for first 2 hours, plus $20 vehicle entrance fee). Restrictions: no confetti, rice, or tossed items; no amplified music; no cut pampas grass. Professional photographers need separate commercial liability permit. Park hours 6 AM–10 PM. Minimal hiking distance to most sites.
