A restored 1928 historic cabin listed on the National Register of Historic Places, sitting on the bank of the Little River in Elkmont. Features a large main room with a gas fireplace and a porch with rocking chairs overlooking the river and surrounding forest. Max 40 guests. National Park Service special use permit required ($50 + $200/day facility rental + $400 refundable security deposit). Permits take 30 days minimum; book up to 12 months in advance via Recreation.gov. No amplified sound, drones, tents, arches, balloons, or confetti. Short, flat walk from parking. Two bathrooms inside (one wheelchair accessible). Available April 2 – October 31, 10am–8pm.
