We had a great hair trial where she did exactly what I had asked for. I was originally going to have a crown, but changed my mind after my trial for a side sweeping comb instead. She adjusted with me. I didn't want my hair to look "over done" and she completely understood I wanted a look that was understated and classic for years to come. On the day of, Brittney was gregarious to all my bridesmaids. She was a light spot on a very nervous morning of preparation. She even popped over to give my then fiancé now husband some hair touch ups for me. Brittney also stuck around for touch ups right before my ceremony. My name is Brittney Rose Blake and I am the creator of touch of rose. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA and moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to attend Paul Mitchell the School Pasadena. This is where I entered my first hair styling competition. I created my first ever twisted down-style and made it in the top 3 nominees out of over 100 schools. This gave me the courage to keep practicing.
A couple months later I had my first ever wedding, and immediately fell in love. Cut and color was not my jam. This is when I knew I would do whatever it took to become a full-time bridal hairstylist. I grew my portfolio, threw my services in everyone’s faces, and one day, I made it where I am today. Just over 100 weddings a year.

I am here to be your frizz free stylist. Seeing the look on my brides faces when they see the final results are the reasons behind my motivation.
