Ceremony sites include the summit (Pu'u'ula'ula), Haleakalā Visitor Center area, Pa'ka'oao (White Hill), Kalahaku Overlook, and Leleiwi Overlook. Max 25 guests including vendors. NPS Special Use Permit required ($150 application fee, 2–3 weeks minimum lead time, peak season apply 2–3 months out). Restrictions: no litter, confetti, amplified music, stepping off trails, or landscape-altering decorations. Sunrise access requires separate timed entry reservations (recreation.gov).
