Can you accommodate large wedding parties?

Yes!  I have a team of two artists (plus myself).  We can accommodate groups of up to 21 ladies.

What makeup brands do you use?

I use a wide range of products from many different brands. Only high quality and high performing products are in my kit to ensure your makeup is flawless on camera. All products are tested for performance prior to making it into my collection. Please contact me with any questions regarding allergies in your party.

Do you do trials?

I highly recommend doing a trial.  They are a preview of the makeup look for the wedding day and are a 60-90 minute consultation.  I do trials M-Th (+ some select Fridays/weekends) out of my home studio in Danville, CA. We create the desired look for your wedding day by going through photos and customizing the perfect look!  It’s also a great way to meet each other, make sure we vibe and you love my style.

How soon in advance should I book my makeup services?

I start booking a year and a half in advanced so the sooner, the better!

How long does each makeup application take?

Accepted Answer

On the day of the event, the Bride is scheduled for a full hour, and attendants are scheduled for 35 minutes each.  I also allot some time in the beginning, middle and end, which gives us a little wiggle room if we need it.

Will my makeup last all night? What if I cry? (or) How long will my makeup last?

Absolutely. A true professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. Not only are the eyes and skin prepared with the proper skin care and priming products, but you will be set and finished with professional powders and sprays that seal in and help fix the makeup in place. All the products in between the prepping and sealing are chosen for their longevity and high performance in all tear/sweat and weather conditions.

Do you use airbrush makeup?

No, I use a traditional application but I find it is just as flawless and beautiful as airbrush.

Do you also do wedding hair?

I don’t do hair but work with some of the best hair stylists – I am happy to give you a referral!

On my wedding day do I come to you, or do you travel to my venue (or location where I am getting ready)?

I come to you.  Takes all the stress out of having to go to a salon and you can just enjoy the time with your bridal party and feel pampered all morning.

Do you charge an on-location fee?

In some cases travel fees may incur.  Please request a detailed travel quote upon inquiring.

Question 12

How will I touch-up my lips or face? Can I get those products from you?

During the trial, I will go over products you may want to purchase to have on hand for the day of the wedding.  I will provide a little goodie bag with a few essentials, however, I always recommend having a powder and full size lipstick for touch up.

Question 13

When is a second makeup artist necessary?

Accepted Answer

If the number of persons requesting makeup services on the wedding day exceeds 7 or more, or if there are time restraints, a second makeup artist may be required. This will be confirmed depending on the amount of time that you have available the morning of to get ready. If a second makeup artist is requested or required, a $125 fee will apply to the bridal client's total cost of services.

What is your travel fee?

I offer 25 miles round-trip complimentary with each bridal booking. After 25 miles, $1.00 per mile will be figured into the total cost of the services. If a second makeup artist is required or requested, the travel fee will duplicate. If travel time exceeds 2 hours, a hotel accommodation may be required for the makeup artist.

Do you have a wedding day minimum?

I have a five service minimum during peak season.  I understand each situation is different, so please inquire with me if you have less services and we can make it work!
