If I could give Annaleisa and Meraki Wedding Photography 10 stars, I would. My husband and I recently got married and just happened to find the Meraki Wedding Photography webpage while planning our wedding. Annaleisa was very responsive when we sent our initial email for information and as soon as we met her in person, we knew we found someone who could make our wedding day very special. She’s kind and interesting and made us both feel comfortable getting our picture taken. We were indifferent to engagement photos, but she made the whole process really fun and we were completely blown away by how beautiful the photos are. She’s able to capture the entire scene, from beautiful backgrounds to the personalities of the people she photographs. She has a wonderful personality and a true talent for photography.

Definitely 5 stars for Meraki Wedding Photography! My husband and I recently got married in Lake City, CO, but live in Texas and so planning from afar was not the easiest; however, Annaleisa made the photography process so painless and she truly was an absolute delight to work with! She was very professional, sweet, attentive to details, and just overall a genuinely great person and photographer! It literally brought tears to my eyes when e got our pictures back. She captured so many amazing candid moments, along with the photo list I had sent her. She was so flexible throughout the day (my husband and I were both running behind on the wedding morning), but she just went with it and was such a huge help all day! I feel so grateful that she was our photographer and everybody really enjoyed her company! I HIGHLY recommend Annaleisa and Meraki Wedding Photography! :)

Annaleisa, wow! Our photos were STUNNING! Where to begin? Initially, she was so easy to connect with, not just easy to get in touch, but easy to get along with. She was so warm and so excited to help us. She offered many suggestions and was eager to assist on any way she could to make our elopement extra special. Once we finalized our plans, a hike in camping, canoeing adventure, she was so down to make it happen, with no hesitation. With our sunrise photo shoot, we were struggling with logistics of getting our bouquet to the site as fresh as possible (we were camping the night before) and Annaleisa stepped right up and offered to bring them with her in the morning. Super helpful! And the day of our elopement was seamless! It was so easy, it felt weird that it was so easy, considering it was our wedding. She gave great cues and went right along with all of our plans. She was great to have around, like a friend who belonged there anyway. And we were floored by how the photos turned out! And we got them so quickly! I swear I didn't even recognize the cover photo for the web gallery as even being us, we looked like a magazine cover. Photo after photo, it really was stunning. We were sad that we couldn't share our special day with our friends and family, but these photos tell the tale in an even more romantic way than they ever could have experienced in person. Can't wait to share with everyone! Annaleisa, thank you so much for being such an integral part of our fairytale elopement. It truly would not have been as magical without your amazing talent documenting the whole thing. We are blown away by your work! If it's not obvious, I would clearly recommend her for your own event. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day Annalesia made us feel like our life long friend was just snapping photos of us. We were so comfortable and confident with her there. She was the mastermind behind the Colorado Elopement Giveaway that we won, so this would not have happened without her. She is not only incredibly talented but she’s one of the most spectacular people on this earth. When we got our engagement and wedding photos back we were blown away. We felt like she captured us completely. Please do yourself a favor and stop looking for another photographer, Annalesia is the best of the best.

Not only does she have a great eye for photography, she also has a unique gift to make people feel special and to bring joy to others. This joy shines through in her photos and is great for people who aren’t super comfortable in front of a camera, or people like me who do not know what to do with their hands in photos. My photography style is a fun mix of candid and posed shots. While there won’t be any stray hair ties on your wrist or beer cans in the background, you can guarantee I’ll catch you two gazing into each other’s eyes when you think no one’s looking! I’m constantly looking for that perfect shot, but always make sure you and your partner come first.
