I purchased my first camera at 26 years old. I had spent the past 13 years of my life trying to “make it” in Hollywood, and in a state of complete defeat and evaluation of my self-worth (the industry will do that to you)… I started taking pictures. I loved it so much, that I realized I was not an actress but an artist, just yearning for some form of creative control. I started thinking, “If they aren’t going to hire me, I’ll make it myself.” That’s really how this little business of mine began. I don’t have a degree in photography. I don’t have a degree at all. I just woke up everyday and made it a point to practice what I love. So here I am now, at 32 years old and I can confidently call myself a wedding photographer. From being the theatre kid who could cry on cue with a driving force from an empathetic heart.. that emotion has transpired to what I search for in every single couple I shoot.
