What does the wedding flower process look like, step by step?

After our initial consultation, we create a custom proposal outlining floral elements, pricing, and all associated fees. You’ll have up to three rounds of revisions to refine the design. Once the contract is signed and a 50% non-refundable retainer is paid, your date is secured. We'll check in with your Wedy planner to confirm final design details one month before the wedding. The remaining balance is due at that time. In the weeks leading up to your date, flowers are sourced, processed, and prepared, with delivery, setup, and optional breakdown handled on the wedding day.

How involved do we need to be in the design process?

That’s entirely up to you. Some couples enjoy reviewing inspiration and collaborating closely, while others prefer to share their vision and trust us to execute it. We adapt the level of involvement to match what feels comfortable and enjoyable for you.

Can we just send Pinterest photos and ask you to recreate them?

Pinterest is helpful for inspiration, but floral designs are shaped by seasonality, availability, venue conditions, and each designer’s style. Rather than copying an image, we use your inspiration to create a custom design that fits your wedding, your setting, and the flowers that are at their best at that time of year.

Yes. We offer rentals for vases, vessels, candles, and certain décor elements. Renting reduces waste, lowers costs, and simplifies logistics so you don’t have to worry about storing, transporting, or reselling items after the wedding.

High winds are common and can affect lightweight arrangements, candles, signage, and arches, so we design with stability and secure mechanics in mind. Heat – often with little or no natural shade – can shorten the lifespan of certain flowers, which is why we prioritize heat-tolerant, seasonal blooms and time installation carefully.

Dust is also part of the desert environment. On windy days it can become a temporary nuisance, especially for low arrangements or décor placed directly on the ground. We account for this in our design approach and placement decisions.

Beyond florals, we encourage couples to think about guest comfort. Hydration stations, shaded gathering areas, and thoughtful layout choices go a long way in creating a positive experience. We also recommend being mindful of the natural terrain—spiky plants, uneven ground, and desert textures are part of the landscape and should be planned around for both décor placement and foot traffic.
