Shelby did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was truly incredibly. Shelby is such a kind person and made me feel totally at ease. She was early and just so talented. Absolutely recommend. If you’ve been researching and debating who to book for hair and makeup, this is it.

Absolutely wonderful! 1000% recommend! We had an intimate elopement with just us and a photographer and wanted to look our best without stressing about doing our own hair/makeup. My wife and I (both brides) had our hair and makeup done by Melissa on site at our hotel. First I should mention that due to inclement weather on the island (torrential downpour and flooding), we actually had to reschedule our elopement and Simply Beauty Maui worked with us so fluidly and were still able to send someone to help us out for our new date, which was such a relief! Melissa was very friendly, kind, and easy to talk to so the time passed quickly, and her work was amazing! My wife wanted an updo and a very natural makeup look, while I wanted a half-up/half-down style and a bit more makeup. She NAILED both styles perfectly and even coordinated our makeup colors/tones to blend well together for photos. I am a bit particular about having my hair done, and Melissa listened and understood exactly what I needed and DELIVERED. And I mean, winds on the beach where whipping every which way and my curls stayed in tact. Both of us felt confident, beautiful without being overdone, and without the stress of doing a single thing ourselves for our special day. We cannot recommend Simply Beauty Maui (and Melissa) enough! Worth every penny and wish we could transport them to Ohio to do our hair and makeup for every event!

Melissa and Paige were the team that came out to our condo to do our hair and makeup. This was our first time having our hair and makeup professionally done and it was such a wonderful experience. I honestly wish I could have someone come to my house and do it every day! Melissa and Paige were both on time and had all their supplies ready to go. They were able to work easily with the space available and made us all feel very comfortable. The entire process was very relaxing which was a refreshing change after being on the go nonstop the prior 3 days. Paige did the hair of my mother in law and my daughter and step daughter. I think she did an excellent job of getting the girls out of their shell and both of them were so happy with how their hair looked. My daughter is a tween and she (Paige) even got her to smile and have fun during the process so that's a win! I don't think my mother-in-law has ever had her hair done up for anything so it was a special treat for her as well. She just had some general guidance on what she wanted and Paige made her hair look beautiful. When Melissa was doing her makeup, I really liked how she asked a lot of questions and really took her opinions into account throughout the process and talked her through everything she was doing. During our session, Paige and Melissa talked about (paige's words) how the products they used were "all the proofs". I thought that was pretty clever and something you should advertise! (sweat proof, wind proof, etc.). I am happy to report my makeup still looked flawless when we walked off the beach at the end of the night. Last, but not least, I was blown away with how great Melissa did with my hair and makeup that I sent an extra tip via venmo when we were still in Hawaii - hope you saw it. I was especially floored by how great my makeup looked and my (now) husband even commented and honestly he doesn't notice things like that at all. seriously, one time I went from blonde to brunette and he didn't notice at all. Anywho, I just felt SO beautiful; more beautiful than I have ever felt in my life and I think that really showed through in our photos and the amount of confidence I had. I had some spots of melasma I was worried about and Melissa made sure they were covered up before I even got a chance to ask. This is something I was really worried about in pictures. I also think she did a great job of taking a few pinterest photos shown to her and somehow totally getting what look I was going for and she nailed it. Not to mention, she was also really sweet and fun to hang out with while she did my hair and makeup. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

I hired Simply Beauty Maui for my destination wedding based on a recommendation from our venue coordinator. Heather was quick to reply to all my emails, answer questions, and setup a hair and make up schedule that coordinated with our photographer perfectly! I was able to schedule a hair trial prior to our wedding day with Melissa, my hair stylist, and she was amazing! She listened to my thoughts and ideas, made adjustments to my hairstyle as we went, and by the end of the trial I knew i was in good hands! Melissa, Paige and Donna were our beauty team for the wedding and they did AMAZING! Donna did my make up, and before sitting in the chair I was a little nervous since I hadn't been able to do a make up trial prior to our wedding day. Donna's 10 years of experience and masterful airbrushing set me at ease immediately! I showed her a couple pictures of wedding day makeup I liked and she took it from there. I absolutely loved my make up! Melissa did my hair and remembered everything we had discussed and tried during the trial. My hair looked amazing! Melissa, Donna, and Paige all took care of my bridal party and mom, and made sure they looked fabulous!! Everyone's hair and make up looked flawless, and when one bridesmaids false lashes were causing her eye to water, Paige took them off and waited until the rest of the group was done and pictures were beginning to apply a new set that better fit my bridesmaid's eye! All of our hair and makeup withstood the Hawaii heat and humidity so well, we were all super impressed!! The team was a blast to hang out with all morning. I am so grateful they were a part of my wedding day!

I hired Heather and team for my wedding and they were such a joy and incredible sweet. Heather was extremely flexible (despite me changing the schedule on her so many times). I was in love with both my hair and makeup. She nailed exactly what I was wanting. Heather and her team were so amazing to work with during the craziness of COVID! I originally booked hair & makeup for a photo shoot in May 2020 but we ended up rescheduling 4x due to COVID. We finally landed in December and Heather made the process so seamless! Melissa was my stylist and she was awesome! I showed her a few inspiration photos and she jumped right in with suggestions and her own ideas! My hair/makeup was beautiful and our photos turned out amazing!
