We think it is so important to know who you are hiring as an individual, and not just as a creative! If this gives you any indication of our relationship, we’ve been married for almost 6 years and our friends often describe us as a couple who “does not function well without each other.” We are very much a team in our day-to-day life, and that translates to our photography work as well! Two years ago we bought a tiny (literally 600 square foot) 1930’s cottage home in Arkansas, and that is where we reside with our sassy cat Astrid (She is our best friend).
In our down time you can find us setting off on spontaneous road trips (one time we decided to go on a trip to Colorado with one day notice and drove 10 hours straight with no planning whatsoever), thrifting for vintage home and clothing items, attending concerts, watching true crime documentaries, eating mexican food, tending to our plant babies, watching The Office, embracing local events (we enjoy going to go to the farmers market on a slow Saturday morning), and playing endless amounts of Pokemon. (Yes I said it. Pokemon.)
Photos have played a huge part in our relationship. Getting to look back and see how much we have grown as a couple is so dang special! We know how fast life moves, and how easy it is to let time slip away. Getting to document the growth for other couples to look back on is so fulfilling for us, and truly why we are passionate about what we do!
