COAST is a destination café, gallery and boutique along Highway 1 overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The idyllic round buildings are made from old-growth redwood water towers that originally served as the storage tanks for the Oak Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. Our James Beard Award winning chef, Nick Balla, is an advocate of wholesome, abundant and nourishing cooking. Our certified Sommelier and Cicerone, Tyler Rue, hand selects beverages to best compliment the experience. Andrea Rue is the property's event coordinator and takes great care in facilitating each aspect of a COAST event from beginning to end.
