Heritage Museum of Orange County is an outdoor garden venue in Santa Ana, California, set on a historic museum property in the middle of an urban neighborhood. Couples get a vintage, garden-style backdrop for a wedding day without leaving the city.
Ceremonies can take place on the Gazebo Lawn in front of the historic Kellogg House, which holds up to 300 guests. The Rose Garden Lawn works for ceremonies, cocktail hour and receptions, with room for 400 seated guests or 600 standing, and an optional dance floor. Weddings here are outdoor only, and a tent is available as a backup plan for weather.
The venue includes a venue coordinator, event and service staff, setup and cleanup, a dressing room or bridal suite, Wi-Fi and bar services. Country Garden Caterers is the exclusive caterer, and alcohol is served through the caterer or a licensed bartender. Free parking is available on site, and the grounds are wheelchair accessible. Amplified music must end by midnight, and open flames, sparklers and fireworks are not permitted. A certificate of insurance is required, and a refundable deposit is due at booking.
Ceremony rentals start at $3,000, with off-peak rates from November through March and peak rates from April through October. A complimentary pricing consultation and tour is a good way to see the lawns in person before choosing a date.
