Malibu West Beach Club sits on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, right beside the beach. It is an oceanview clubhouse venue where the Pacific is part of nearly every moment of the day, from the ceremony to the portraits on the sand.
Couples can use several spaces. The Oceanfront Deck is a partially covered tiled deck about 50 feet wide with a 180-degree view of the water, and it works for the ceremony, a first look and cocktail hour. Upstairs, the Clubhouse Banquet Room has vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling glass walls facing the ocean, along with a gourmet kitchen, for the reception. A private, brightly lit Bride's Suite gives the getting-ready party a place of their own, and the sandy beach, about 100 yards from the clubhouse to the surf, is used for portraits. The venue lists seated events of up to 150 guests and up to 200 standing.
The club is a venue-only rental, so couples bring in their own caterer and other vendors. Included are security, set-up, clean-up and use of the tables and chairs. Arches are available as a decor rental. The venue is open year-round, and it is wheelchair accessible. Packages start at $5,650.
