The McCreery house is a dream but even more of a dream is Julie Marsh! She is seriously the kindest, most organized, most creative, most accommodating person in the world. We visited a couple of venues and although we were blown away with the house, after meeting with Julie we knew this was our place. We gave her our ideas and told her what mattered to us and how we wanted to be hands off, she took our vision and made it a million times better. She checked in with us throughout the process and made sure that all our boxes were checked, wedding planning was a breeze! Every detail was perfect, walking in on our wedding day I could not believe how gorgeous our venue was. The caterer Julie recommended was incredible and overall we had the time of our lives. Since then, Julie and her team have made so many beautiful upgrades. We had our wedding on August 7th and it far exceeded our wildest dreams. When we walked in the day of the wedding it completely took our breath away. We had been there before but when you walk into the backyard, it’s truly a magical feeling. I have tried to find the words to describe it and genuinely cannot do it justice. You just must go and see and FEEL for yourself. It’s truly so special and so amazing. In addition to an incredible atmosphere and venue is a world-class wedding planner and team. Julie is the absolute best in the business. From initial meeting to post-wedding, Julie takes all of the stress away so that you truly enjoy the process and most importantly the day. Julie is the master of every single detail and she thinks of it and covers it all. It’s the little things that make events and guests feel special and Julie is on top of it. She is patient, kind, and a lot of fun to work with. Her staff and team are incredible too. They made everyone feel so important and special. We had many compliments from our guests at how fun and amazing the staff was. At the end of the night, when we hugged our last guest, I turned and was being handed the keys to my car that was already loaded and backed into the driveway ready to go. My wife and I are from Iowa and we're planning a wedding in Colorado. While on vacation there to visit family we had arranged to see multiple venues in a day. We had a checklist of all the things we wanted in a venue. The McCreery House was our first stop of the day. We absolutely loved Julie and the vibe of her venue, however we had other sites to see. We told her we would contact her the following day on our decision. My wife and I drove about five minutes before turning around and going back. The McCreery House had everything we had wanted, plus more...PLUS JULIE! She made everything so easy and exciting. Our wedding day was perfect and her vendors and entries staff was nothing short of extraordinary. If you aren't getting married here...You're doing it wrong.

If I could give 100 stars I would. I tried to plan a backyard wedding completely alone and realized very quickly how expensive and stressful a venue is to basically create from the ground up. My mother in law helped me find this venue and thankfully our date was the only date still available in June (very surprising considering it was only 4 months out and one of the busiest months of wedding season). This venue is so incredibly beautiful. But that isn't what blew me away. Julie's care for her couples that she helps is immeasurable, she is so kind and patient..She jumped in head first and helped get the big things off of my shoulders, helped me get in touch with vendors, and helped me find ways we could save considering we had already booked ALL of our vendors. On the day of our wedding, she made sure that everyone went to her for anything that went wrong, and my husband and I were completely oblivious day of (me more than him, haha!). It truly helped us to just enjoy our day. Julie's attention to details is also amazing. This venue also used to be a bed and breakfast and depending on their schedule and when you need to be up the day after your wedding, you can actually stay there on your wedding night. My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night, and after everyone left, we ate our "midnight dinner and dessert" up on the balcony and talked for a couple of hours (Julie packs it up for you to enjoy after everything ends since you're usually too busy to eat). She organized everything for us in the main bedroom making it super easy to get up and go in the morning, and she even took our sweetheart table centerpiece flowers and draped them on the bed. On the way out, Julie had a little continental breakfast prepared for us in the fridge to grab and go! The value of service that you receive for what you pay is astounding. Every one of our guests thought the wedding was not only incredibly beautiful, but so well put together and well executed. Our vendors even mentioned how this was the best wedding they've been to, simply due to the organization of the staff. If you are looking for a venue, you will not be disappointed. 100/10 recommend.
Julie at the McCreery House is absolutely amazing. She helps you from day one to they BIG DAY. She is there to help as much or as little as you want. Julie helped us determine a reasonable budget, recommended wonderful vendors, and handled all the day of details such as set up and take down. Julie made sure that our big day went off without a hitch and I wouldn't of changed anything in how the venue looked or how our day went overall. If you want a warm and supportive planner/day of coordinator and venue owner all rolled up into one than Julie at the McCreery House is the way to go!
The McCreery House was pretty much what my daughter envisioned for her bridal shower. We fell in love with it at first sight! The atmosphere was beautiful! Julie was great to work with and did a personal and wonderful job of making sure everything was what we expected. I would recommend the McCreery House venue for anyone who is looking for a unique Victorian experience. Julie is truly amazing and keeps the house looking amazing inside and out. Her special touch is observed throughout each room of the house. The historic house retains its Victorian charm and the yard and gardens are gorgeous. The bridal shower was spectacular! My daughter loved the McCreery House so much that she wanted to use the venue the day of her wedding for her bridal party to get ready for her wedding day with her hair stylist and make-up artist. The photographs taken in the rooms upstairs while the bridal party prepared for the big day turned out beautiful. I would definitely recommend The McCreery House for any celebration.
