THE MANSION
Built in 1880 as personal family grounds and now owned by members of the private University Club of Santa Barbara, this exclusive wedding venue location resides in the historic estate district of Santa Barbara’s lower Riviera. Just a block from the central Santa Barbara Courthouse, Alameda Park and Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens, and the world-class State Street shopping, hotel and eatery area, the Riviera Mansion is the premier Santa Barbara wedding event venue of choice for couples wanting to tie the knot in elegance and style, yet with exquisite comforts and topnotch service.
Since it’s original development as a private residence by James W. Calkins and nicknamed “Calkins Castle,” the estate has been beautifully renovated and maintained, boasting Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, with its own private art collection and antiques, brick patios, walkways and gardens, and complimentary parking and WiFi for all Mansion guests.
