Sur Grove Big Sur

Sur Grove is a private elopement and micro-wedding venue in Big Sur, California, hidden beneath towering redwoods just minutes from the Big Sur coastline. It is a retreat-style property built for small, unhurried celebrations, with fireplaces inside and forest views from every window.

Celebrations here are intimate by design. The rates cover groups of up to 10 guests, so it suits elopements, vow exchanges and very small weddings. Couples have exclusive access to the whole property. The setting also lends itself to long dinners and quiet mornings among the trees.

Every celebration includes a one-night stay at Sur Grove, champagne for the occasion, and a rate that already covers the cleaning fee and occupancy tax. Additional nights can be added for $650 each. Spring and winter weddings (December through April) are $3,500 for one to four guests and $5,000 for five to ten guests. Summer and fall weddings (May through November) are $5,500 for one to four guests and $7,000 for five to ten guests. The venue also shares a list of local favorites, including photographers, a florist and restaurants, and nearby places to explore include Point Lobos, Andrew Molera State Park and Garrapata State Park.
