The French Estate

The French Estate is a historic garden venue in Orange, California, in the Old Towne district. The estate has hosted celebrations since 1892. Couples get exclusive use of the grounds, with one event per day, so the property is private to your guests from setup through the evening.

The Estate Grounds are an outdoor space for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and the layout can be arranged to suit your plans. A 150-guest setup uses 60-inch rounds seating ten. Indoors, the Bridal Suite is included for getting ready and opens at 11am. The Grand Parlor, along with the entry and staircase, is open for photos and time with the bridal party. The venue welcomes up to 150 guests, seated or standing.

Tables, chairs and a venue coordinator are included, and the venue also has a ceremony arch. A venue coordinator helps before and during the day, but a day-of wedding coordinator is not part of the base packages. Outside catering is allowed, and the venue shares a recommended vendor list covering caterers, photographers, DJs, florists, rentals, cakes and officiants. You can bring your own beer and wine, and a licensed bartender is required. Amplified music runs until 9pm and guests head out by 9:30pm. Candles must be enclosed or flameless. Street parking covers up to 50 guests, and larger weddings use an offsite lot with a private shuttle.
