The Maxwell House

The Maxwell House is a historic landmark at 55 S Grand Ave in Pasadena, California, set in an urban neighborhood with garden views. It is an indoor and outdoor venue with a vintage character, and it is run as a venue-only rental, so couples shape the day around their own team.

The Living Room is the main historic space and works for both ceremony and reception. Together with the other rooms and the garden areas, the house hosts up to 100 seated guests, not counting staff or vendors. Two private wedding suites give the couple and their party a place to get ready.

The package includes setup and cleanup, security, a dance floor, Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar area and a kitchen, along with chairs, tables, a wedding arch, a podium and a sound system. There is no in-house catering. Couples choose a caterer from the venue's preferred vendor list, and alcohol is served through a preferred-list bartending service. Please note that open flames, sparklers and smoke effects are not permitted, and decorations cannot be attached with nails, staples or hooks. Weddings are held on Saturdays and Sundays, with music wrapping up by 10pm on Saturdays and 8pm on Sundays. Packages start at $9,500.
