How do we Check-in?

Check-in is at 2:00 PM.  Guests can conveniently check themselves in using a lockbox provided on the premises. We will send you an email prior to your stay with all the details.

Check-in and Check-out time?

Check-in time is at 2 PM, and check-out time is at 11 AM. We kindly ask guests to adhere to these times for smooth transitions for our next guests.

Question 3

What is the Pet Policy?

We welcome well-behaved dogs at Mineral Schoolhouse.  However other pets (other than dogs) or crated animals are not permitted.

We understand that dogs are part of the family, so feel free to bring them along for your stay.   Guests are responsible for their dogs' behavior and any related damages.  Dogs must be crated when left alone.

Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring a dog, as additional fees or restrictions may apply.  We will need to take additional measure to remove pet fur/hair when it comes to preparing for the next guests arrival.  We ask that you go the extra mile to make sure there is no evidence that your pet has stayed with you at MSH.  The next guest will appreciate it.

Question 4

What is the Smoking Policy?

Smoking is restricted to the firepit area only; please dispose of cigarette butts there to avoid fire hazards or additional cleaning fees.

Question 5

Is It Wheelchair Accessible?

Accepted Answer

The Mineral Schoolhouse does not have wheelchair-accessible rooms that are up to date with ADA regulations, but ramps are available for entry into the schoolhouse and access to the gym.

Question 6

Is the Furniture Movable?

We ask that you return all furniture to the place in where you originally found it.  We pride ourselves in providing each guest with a clean and comfortable rental. A big part of providing a great rental is getting your stay off to a good start and having the venue ready for check-in at the time it is promised.   If you were unable to check-in at the time you were expecting to, that would be very disappointing to you.  Therefore, if you move the furniture we just ask you to return it before you check out!

It is our goal to have your stay as pleasant as possible and that includes not having to charge you extra for our cleaning crew moving furniture back to where it belongs.  In advance we want to thank you for your cooperation.

Is WiFi available?

We do offer free Wi-Fi, but you are in the woods and it is very secluded out here, which is part of the charm and desire to escape and unplug, literally.

If you do not get great service from the Wi-Fi that is provided.  Unfortunately, we cannot do much about that during your stay.  We encourage you to enjoy books, games, the outdoors and the gym!
