The York Manor sits on York Boulevard in Los Angeles, in an urban setting with a vintage character. The building is a converted 1913 church, and it works as a private event venue for couples who want a distinctive space of their own in the city.
Couples get exclusive use of the Main Hall, which holds up to 120 seated guests and can host both a ceremony and a reception. Outside, a private backyard and a front yard are included with the rental. They suit ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions. Two private suites, one for each partner, give both sides a place to get ready.
The venue is rented as a venue-only option and runs year round, with Saturday events. The rental includes tables, chairs, lighting, a podium and sound and AV equipment, along with a dance floor, set up and clean up, event staff, security and a venue coordinator. Liability insurance is also covered. There is no in-house catering, so couples bring in their own approved caterer. The kitchen is available for prep. Couples may bring their own alcohol, served by a licensed bartender or caterer. Day-of coordination is something couples arrange themselves. Indoor music ends by midnight and outdoor music by 10 PM.
